Dave,

Is the screw on that tool designed press against the top of the output spline without falling down into the threads? how does that work? Any screw that fits through the hole is goign to go down into the threads, right?

but lots of work to do...

anyway, mark, I screw a longer screw into the servo spline and then use the screw which you see in the tool to press against this screw and grabbing with the two arms the servo horn, this way you dont damage nothing. its little homemade but works lovely

Can make you pictures, step by step how I take the horn off if you want...
