Here's a question to ask yourself, what PIPE do you have?

The YS SR sounds like a winner. If I didn't already have an OS, I'd be buying a YS.

I am going with the YS because I already have one.

Keep in mind, the engine mounting block needs to be milled down for the YS to fit. At least that was the case with Jason Bell's Aurora. I don't know if Augusto made the mods necc for the YS to fit in this first batch.

YS 91SR/Hatori SB19...tons of power, even rich. But when tuned...throw 15 degrees of pitch at it and it takes it like its nothing!

I ran the OS 91 sz pumped before and just recently put the YS-91 SR in with the SB-19 and I feel it runs more consistant and has a little more power. I had the mp5 on the YS for a little while and decided to put the SB-19 on it and there was a noticable difference. Overall the YS runs awesome and creates a ton of power and I personally like it more than the os but thats just my opinion.

Great thanks for the info all.

I purchased another YS91SR and SB-19 yesterday evening. Just waiting on delivery. Not sure what to do with OS keep it of sell it. What do you guys think. It's new in box with just the header attached for the SB18.

I hear that fitting the YS 91SR requires some modifications to the engine mounts in the Aurora. Not bothered by that as I have a YS SR ready to go when I get my kit, just wondering if anyone else has heard the same thing?

In some cases the pump on the YS comes in contact with the motor mount center block which can cause alignment issues. This has not been the case on all helicopters. If you do run into this problem just relieve the area that comes in contact with the pump using a dremmel tool. Not much material needs to be removed. Less than 1/16" or until you have sufficient clearance.

I also run a 1900 head speed as well. 1850 works well on the ys too because of the good torque. I personally like the feel of 1900 it has a little more pop and pulls better through big moves.
