I just saw on FXaeromodels website that they have a fiberglass canopy for the Maxi-Joker 2 under part number JO620.
I just checked Minicopters website and the canopy they are showing under #620 says it is for the ACROBAT.
Are they the same canopy or am I missing something?

I would bet FXA's info is incorrect and Minicopter to be correct.

Yep, that's what I was thinking too...I still want a grp canopy though...no time to make a copy of the plastic one

In the past these fiberglass canopies were only for the Acrobat glow. Since about one year no holes are cut (because they are different) and position marks for the rubber grommets were added for the Joker2 / Maxi/Joker 2 series. So the fiberglass canopy can be used on the electrics as well. The starter hole on the top is also not more cut out from factory.

Thanks Gerd...now I'm glad I gambled and ordered their last one!
I want the grp because it will keep a paint job better then the flexible plastic and few other mod's I'm planning.
