I have a DX7 heli radio and cant for the life of me figure out how to program it to get negitive pitch on the heli. All three swash servos are reversed to get proper movement if that makes any difference. Can someone, anyone please help me?

If the geometry is right, then you should be able to mechanically get negative pitch. Check your swash mix values, increasing the pitch (or decreasing if it is negative) value will increase overall travel. Then check the travel adjust page and try increasing (or decreasing) the values to get the travel necessary. Beware as you increase pitch travel that cyclic input near pitch limits can cause binding (with cyclic stick in the "corners" of the gimbal).

Not familiar with that particular helicopter, so I assume you are supposed to be able to get negative pitch.

Hope it helps.

Set it up for 0 pitch in the middle of your range and everything else at 90 degrees or parralle. Sorry I also don't know that heli BUT...

The sceen you need for the DX7 is the (Swash Mix) screen. First make sure the model is setup for CCPM in the main setup part (hold the 2 buttons and turn the radio on, etc).

In the Swash mix you need to change that number for the pitch. NOTE this number can go NEGATIVE and will flip the way things work and also sets the limits of travel. Try it for the swash, aileron, and elevator.

hope that helps.

Go to helifreak.com and watch finless Bob's videos on CCPM setup for the t-rex 450. The method should be the same, even though you have a different heli.
