Thanks to "W" and his stimulus gift I'm the proud owner of a new Futabe 7Channel 2.4 and O.S. .50 hyper engine. Now just a little more to save and I'll have my TT 50 Titan and few other things to buy and I'll be in business!!!

I did debate about getting a G4 sim while waiting but that could be a couple more months of saving to make up for it so I'm holding off on it for now. Plus the fact that I want to do scale and don't feel the need to practice 3D unless I got bit by a bigger bug than I thought.

The sim isnt just for learning 3D. If you are just starting out and haven't flown yet the best investment you could have made would be a sim.

Well I have an AXE right now and while I almost went and got the sim, I don't think it should be too hard to step up to the .50 if not easier. I don't mind going slow in learning and maybe down the road I'll go and get one anyways.
