| Hi, this was discussed not long ago in the e-raptor forum.
Basically the trex is a 6S machine, I have the E620SE on 10S and it has heaps of power. I like the layout of the E620SE, the battery is protected, i have crashed 2 times right into the ground and the battery only moves forward but never gets damaged. The E620SE is a reliable machine, it doesn't have problems. Upgrade the tail rotor hub though to the stainless one ($7).
I just built a trex500 yesterday (my first trex) I don't like the stacked carbon frame, if it breaks you've really got to pull the whole heli apart, all the servos out. The fasterners on it were pretty poor, the good quality WIHA allen keys make the screws strip you need to get some other brand allen wrenches to tighten it up without damaging the screw. |
