e-Mikado Logo 400 500 600 > K&B Head dampners for a logo...cheapest and best head upgrade around!! only$8

I recently have been experimenting with the green K&B head dampners for the Logos...Bobby Smith at Esprit helped me get the right ones and set them up...

The "Green" ones work perfectly for the logos...I am using them on my logo 600 vbar machines and the head is SO much snappier and responsive that I was able to eliminate the use of the "Collective Pump" and the machine still flies INSANELY well.

This is the BEST upgrade you can get for $8

http://www.espritmodel.com/index.as...ROD&ProdID=7021

I'd recommend EVERYONE to try these out...They are much better than the stock 3d orings that come with the logos..

the key is to use one oring on the inside and then these green ones on the outside

Anthony, would those work on the L10 or have some that would. Mine are
certainly ready to be replaced and that looks like a great option.

I'm not sure...

I have another set of these at home...let me try them on my logo 10 and I'll let you know tomorrow...

I suspect they will work just fine though...

They fit...

From the description: "They will also fit the Mikado Logo 10, 14, 500 and 600 flybar heads."

Have them in my Logo 500 3D as well. Haven't tested them yet, but that's because I haven't flown it yet. Maiden flight in a few days now...

I used the orange neon on my logo 500 3d but i saw that there is a chicken dance when i have low rpm on the head
i think i have to use the green ones..
and why orings inside and dampners outside?
i think that in this way when you put oring-dampner-stock washer you will have some problem in main grip movement, or not??
thanks

I would try the green ones If I were you...

also...the Oring on the inside works great for me..I haven;t tried the Oring on the outside so I don't know if that way works or not...

Hey,

It depends on what head you have.

For the V-Bar head, you will need one O-Ring and the K&B damper.
For the flybar head, you will only need the K&B damper.

Nice greetigns

I had K&B dampers on my 600N and they were the shizzle, definitely will be the replacement dampers when its time for the stock ones to go on my 500 3d. Thanks for the review

Hey guys

Glad you guys are seeing the same results as i did.

I seen the same wobble with the orange in the Mikado heads the green is a perfect fit

Thanks for clarifying Tom..

Iam using K&B'S in every flybarless heli iam flying right now and i feel it is a must have upgrade especially if you are going flybarless

That is interesting. I have a set of K&B dampers sitting here, but I never installed them. Perhaps it's worth giving it a go.

Had maiden flight today. Love the Logo!

At low HS (60%) I did also notice a small vibration. When switching to idle at 70% governed and 2350RPM, the vibration disappeared.

Are the greens the way to go? What about the yellow ones? The greens are softest, the yellow ones are harder and the orange ones are of course the hardest.

Thanks,

Mathias

NO REPLY FROM ESPRITMODEL

i'm contacting esprit model, bobby, SMITHB72866 for a problem on an item i bought from them few days ago but they don't reply. I think this is the worste service i have ever seen. A brand new Castle Creations Phoenix 85HV died after 3 or 4 flowns.
I'm doing all necessary to have my guarantees.
bye

Castle...

I'm pretty sure that you need to deal with Castle Creation directly regarding the burnt ESC...I don't think Esprit has anything to do with warranty stuff for Castle..

Every time I burnt one of my ESC's I had to go directly to castle...

you may want to try that first...Castle has GREAT customer service...but it's because they HAVE TO!....their ESC's are riddled with issues...

sorry....as you can tell I'm not a Castle fan

No
the esc is not burnt
it doesn't work, flashes but no sound
and it after fews flights!
i don't understand i'm really disappointed and plus i contacted them and no replies from castle creatuions!
a lot of money spent and this is the result
I'm really angry with them
about esprit model i think they must at least reply to my email, even because i bought the esc from them and not from castle creations directly

Brifa...

sorry to hear you're having problems...but this is VERY common with Castle Esc's

they seem to develop issues all the time...but...you really do need to deal dirctly with Castle Creations for Warranty issues usually..

I have dealt with them several times myself..seeing as how you are out the country it would be hard for you to call them ...I usually just call them directly and talk to joe there...
