Scale Model RC Helicopters > Anyone use TRex 600 mechs in a FunKey Ranger or Long Ranger??

I'm working on a 60 size FunKey Jet Ranger, with stretched TRex 600E mechs, and have run into a problem:

The swashplate is too large in diameter and the ball links contact the inside of the engine cowling at the top of the fuse. I assume this would be even worse with a 50 size....

Anyone been there? How did you get around the problem?

Anyone have a 120 deg swash that is under 60mm in diameter? If so, what brand is it?

Thanks. I've been reading that thread, and it looks like the swash sits quite a bit higher on the 50, and he's cut reliefs at the top of the cowling. Mine sits lower, so that isn't an option.

I did look at a friend's Predator Gasser today, and after measuring his swash, I think it will work. It's quite a bit smaller in diameter than the TRex 600 swash.

If anyone else has any ideas, I'd love to hear them...
