Hi All,

I'm trying to setup a little CCPM Hornet with my 9Z transmitter.
I'm using a 5 channel micro receiver and because i don't have a 6th chanel i cant get pitch to work.
Am i able to tell the radio to use chanel 5 (remote gyro gain) instead of channel 6?

And if so how am i able to do it?

Thanks in advance
Todd

Extra hidden channels.

If you are using a GWS 4-channel receiver, there is a way to recover the
extra channels up to channel 8. But you must be very good at soldering.
The mod looks simple but challenging.GWS Receiver Mod

Hi,

Go to the MDL screen and pick FNC, now pick the gyro channel 5. Assign the TRM (Trim) to null and assign the CTL (control) to null (removes it from the switch). Go to the condition screen and pick pmix one and set it up as follows

Active (make sure you set the switch to null so you can't accidently turn the mix off)
ch 6 slave
ch 5 master
linear mix
trim off
push Nxt and set the mixing % to 100% on both sides

Now go to the sys menu and pick the servo monitor and you should see that ch5 follow's ch6 exactly (if its backwards then reverse ch 5)

Make sure you setup the mix for each flight mode or you may get a surprise......
