 Just a reminder that Skelmersdale MAC will host the Vario Heli Fly-In North West on Sunday 11th May 2008...Usual Facilities..
Easy to find site use Motorway M6 to J26 the Motorway M58 for 4 miles to J4. Site will be signed but is only 400 metres from J4

The weather was bloody brilliant! Me and a couple of mateshad a great day watching the flying and conversing with like-minded nutters (erm..people!)

One chap had a Cobra with Benzin mechanicals for sale, but I'm afraid I'm out of the Vario price league

Skelmersdale Events Team would like to thank John White who sponsored
the fly-in and to all the pilots who entertained everyone with
some brilliant flying, the spectators also make an event like this so much more enjoyable. The weather was ordered specially but not the thunder and lightening which came in the later afternoon

Thanks to all again and hope we see you next year.

Hi John, please extend my thanks to all the Skelmersdale team who organised the parking,Tx control,Flight line marshalling and the barbaque chefs who were busy all day in that heat !! without this support the event could not have run so smoothly. Thanks to all the pilots and spectators who turned up making this the best NW event so far.
