I'd like to see you all post when you receive your Aurora! I don't want to hear from the select few that got them a long time ago or any factory sponsored pilots. I am talking about the masses of us that were on the preorder list or waiting patiently for 1-2 years for this to be shipped.

Announcing the release of the heli is one thing. I want to see when you guys are getting yours and how many of you have them in hand!

What does released mean?

Have they been shipped?

I'd imagine you will this afternoon.
If RC Direct is getting theirs today, you may have customers local to them driving over there to pick their kit(s) up.


As far as the HeliProz kits, I've heard 2 things. Hopefully someone could clear this up.
I've heard the preordered kits will be drop shipped to the customers today.

Late last week, someone posted here that the drop shipped orders will ship on Wednesday. Not sure how accurate that info is.

But if you go back to AvantRC.com, it says,
"We started shipping several kits yesterday and today to previous commitments like kits for magazine reviews and to industry personalities and are currently packing pallets of kits that will ship on Monday to our first signed dealers Midland UK, RC-Direct and Heliproz..."

HeliProz is on that list, and it DOES say Monday.

As of today, we have not gotten a notice of any of our kits ready to ship from our list. It should be anyday this week. Yes, Preordered kits will ship direct from Avant this time around to help save with shipping time.

Unfortunately we don't run Avant RC but we have been in contact with them daily since the release info began and things are proceeding. Look at the Avant RC site again, Midland's shipment was started today and then RC Direct and HP, etc which could be tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday, etc, this week.

Even if they ship today, the only people to post here would be those who picked them up or tomorrow who had overnight shipments made. As far as I have been told, there are no overnight shipments in the preorder list. Gonna have to give it a few more days I think.

As soon as our kits begin to ship, you guys will be advised. Should be any day now.

We want to see you guys get them as bad you want them. Believe us.

Aurora shipments?

I was told by HeliProz my Aurora would drop ship from Avant R/C no later than tuesday of this week (tomorrow). And I would have it no later than next wednesday, unless I wanted next day or two day shipping. I told them I waited 18 months I could wait another week!

I too talked to HPz and was told ship today or tomorrow and if that is the case I should have mine tomorrow of Wednesday. I will let you know. I live in the next city over from Carlsbad Ca so it should be one day. I was told I could not go and pick it up. Bummer.

I hope Augusto and Avant RC will look after commitments overseas as well as at home, I am in Australia so as you can imagine with shipping time and customs we are way behind. All we need is for us to be left until later in the piece before they leave the factory

Lol, this is the best ever, another twist in the drama that AvantRC brings to the table. Still, even after the 'official release' there is speculation everywhere and 'I dunno's' and 'soon' from shops. I have a feeling this will be the slowest official release of a heli ever. I thought I heard that reps are walking the kits to the customers, so it will be soon, but it may take a little while for them to walk to all your houses.
