| The side frames are made of engineering resin. Usually that'll be a form a glass reinforced nylon. Nylons and engineering resins are what are called crystaline resins and therefore do not accept solvent welding type adhesives. Epoxy is the only chance you have for mechanical bonding. I doubt you'll get that post to stay since it's a small amount of surface area. If you could attach the mount to say a cne inch square plate and then epoxied THAT in place I'd say you'll be good. For me, I'd just replace the frames. It's less than $30, only takes an evening and you'll know the helicopter is right. Use the opportunity to inspect everything and lube the bearings with Tri-flo.
