hi,
One of the rear body mount plates of my vibe 50 has broken off yesterday during a TicTOc. The heli immediatly crashed, with many damages. I am dissatisfied about Jr. Have they tried this heli before sell it ? It cost me over 300 $ to repair it.

A lot of people out there have been doing hard 3D, didn’t happen to them. I might be wrong, but can their be a possibility that while building your machine, you might have over tightened and you frame might had a little crack which wasn't visible, and caused this crash. Or might have received one bad kit. Though sorry to hear about your crash...

One of those body mount plates broke on my first flight but the other held the canopy in place.

Sorry for your loss. I saw some pics that the next batch would have triangular shaped break off tabs.

Did the frames survived? Kinda hard to tell from the pics but rhe muffler seems to be angled to the frame?

the engine is broken and the muffler is angled. Left frame and bottom plate are broken too. It was an expensive crash !

I think the solution is to make a small carbon plate, or to double the original parts (it will need longer screws).

yes, the canopy moount was still on the canopy.

Explain the mechanics of this crash a bit further if you could please. In other words, if only one of the tabs broke, how did the canopy cause you to crash? Did the other bolt break off in flight? In the picture, the bolt on the other side looks broken off.
