Does Hirobo sell the cobra fuse by itself? If so what would be the cost and what other mechanics would fit it?

I'm not sure it is sold seperatly, other mechanics would be a project to get them to fit. The fuse is very narrow, just under 4" inside, the Hirobo scale mechanics are about 2 3/4" and the exhaust mounts centered between the frames on the bottom with a rear exhaust motor,
A Freya Evo frame is a little over 3" and then has the exhaust out the side.

Funkey/Century makes a Cobra fuse, but I don't know what mechanics fit that fuse.

Just remember -- if the world didn't suck, we would fall off.

If memory serves me....The fuse parts are available as spare parts, so it is not a cost effective way to purchase it. Your best best is to buy the complete kit which is very complete and very nice.

The Tow Cobra fuse is not sold seprately as a conversion kit for other mechanics. It is sold as a complete fuse/mechanics kit sepcifically for the Hirobo mechanics. It's not to say after buying the whole kit that you couldn't convert it, but it'd be a heck of a modficiation job, particularly the tail drive section.
