Does anyone here know much about the Walkera 4-in-1's?

Mine started a new trick today, which has rendered it unflyable.
At about the 3/4 throttle point, the tail motor stops.
It starts up again above and below that. But that is, of course, right where it flies at.
As you can guess, this is just down right unhandy, and makes flying near to impossible.

What led up to this: The main motor gave out a couple of days ago. It was flying fine up to that point.
I changed out the main motor, and the tail motor started acting up. And not after some flights, but the first time I tried to fly it on the new main motor.
So I changed the tail motor, which marginally helped, but now I notice that at that same throttle setting, the tail motor... stops.

Am I correct in diagnosing that the 4-in-1 has gone bad?
(I'm gettin' really tired of buying parts for this thing! lol )

Hi 2old! Not that I have answers but I was in the same boat.
Keep buying parts that will end up to the cost of used trex eventually or give up like i did. I'm a newbie with average skills
at best and decided to quit after it needed a the reciever and
a servo. I bought myself a dx7 and a phoenix sim until i'm willing
to spend money on something descent. You wont even find many
people on here that are even willing to comment on Walkeras.
I want my skills to be set the limit not the chopper.
God luck!

Yeah, I know.
The Walkera isn't the highest quality, and to be honest, I'm tired of buyin' parts for it. But in this case, the lil 4#3 is the only heli if it's size, and to be honest, it's a kick to fly! (er.. provided to you want to keep feeding it parts, and it has a heck of an appetite!).

I was just hoping that maybe someone had seen this same problem, and could verify whether or not it was the 4-in-1 or something else.

But to be honest, there just isn't anything "else" that it would be.
So.. looks like I either get it a new receiver ($35) or just let it sit on the shelf...

We'll see. I've spent more time & money fixin' stuff that shouldn't need fixin' on this lil heli than it's worth.
