| 1UP and Sim, I don't know why the offset is used in the RR set-up but here is mine with the JR 10SXII: I put the gyro (HH or non-HH ) on either the gear (ch5) or aux 2 switch which leaves the 3 position aux 3 (automatic gyro gain) channel for the GV-1! Plug the GV-1 RPM lead into aux 3 and set the 3 settings in code 44 to 0%-50%-100%...page over and assign 0% to normal mode , 50% to id1 and 100% to id2. Now go to the GV-1 and set your RPM for your normal, 1 and 2 ! Set the GV-1 stick switch (StSw) to "on" and set the idle-full-kill (Lmt) as outlined in the manual. The manual (as well as some online set up advise) indicates that with the StSw enabled the GV-1 will switch off when you are in Id 1 or 2 (3D type V curve) and pull the throttle stick all the way back...it won't! The governor follows the radio CURVES (in your cases, code 18) NOT the THROTTLE STICK POSITION!!! When you set the Idle-Full throttle- Kill on the GV-1 and enable the StSw function the GV-1 will turn on or off at a point 15%-20% above where you told it the idle point of your engine is...as long as yout idle up curves don't go BELOW the 20% above- idle- point on the curve the GV-1 (as a V curve won't) you can pull the Collective stick all the way back in idle up 1-2 and the governor stays engaged! Likewise the Throttle Hold setting...because the TH setting in your radio curve falls below the 20% on/off point the GV-1 will switch OFF automatically when you hit the TH switch! I have seen people use 2-3 mixes to run the GV-1 so they wouldn't have the thing switching off when they pulled the throttle/Collective all the way back because they thought the StSw was controlled by the STICK position...it ain't...it don't care where your stick is, it only follows your throttle curve(s)! You can see in the SWcd screen when the GV-1 is online and when it shuts off in case you want to check my Data . Hope this helps! Chris |
