| Pilot error on multiple levels.
Not really a crash, but damage happened.
Want to Syracuse last week to show a buddy the heli, manage to snap the tail fin in half hauling it out to his backyard.. Oops, so being the industrious folks we are we worked together a new tail fin (The fin can be seen in my gallery in the Syracuse photo's) out of sheet metal as a temporary fix while I wait for my new fins. They didn't make it here by friday so I figured heck, it worked okay last time just don't hit the tail on the ground 
Went out today and was re-tuning the engine trying to get rid of mid range bog using some tips from RR. Got it up in the air but it seemed very non-responsive to cyclic (engine out of tune/headpeed maybe?) so I brought it back down and managed to hit the tail rotor on the ground. 23 bucks to fix, whew. I just wanted to fly!
