| ""I heard that you need to set the governed speed a little higher than the top power output speed of the engine which is approx 18000""
well it all comes down to keeping that rotor head and the wood blades safe !!
I would not run wood blades at a Head Speed over 1800/1825,,
and I would not run that head over 1850 without thrust bearings,, those would be MY rules if it was my Hawk Pro,,
now I know many pilots have probably run that Hawk Pro setup without thrust bearings with wood blades higher,, but I would not,,
buy thrust bearings and buy carbon blades and you can run your OS 37 up to 18000 engine speed..
head temp,, yeea, 200/210 not any more I would think..
Jim the wife wont let me get a Monkey !!,,, damm, can't have anything |
