I'm using 8717 servos. Is there anything I can do to make the servo arms go on (and come off) easier? I've got a dremmel and I'm not afraid to use it.

I justt worry that I'll put these arms on once and never be able to get them off again.

I don't know about removal, but for trial runs I just pushed them on a bit until the spline engaged.

For final assembly, I used a 3mm bolt and tightened it until the arm was well seated. I removed the bolt and installed the brass output pinion.

Doing it this way didn't put stress on the brass component because I used the steel socket head cap screw for the compressing. Next, I can get torque on the bolt easier than the brass output pinion. Finally, I thought this was much better than pressing the arm on there because I wasn't pushing on the entire gear train assembly.

Side note- I am using the 8717s and they seem at home on this machine. Enough typing, I am going flying!

If I run out of time, I'll just rebuild my Fury.
