I just bought a Lepton kit. I also purchased a Hacker A30 10XL. I will be using 4S packs. I won't be doing any hard 3d, only scale type flying with occasional loops & rolls. I would like to know the best pinion to use. I have alot of nitro experience, but not a whole lot with electrics, so some advice would be appreciated.

I would use the 24 tooth pinion that is included with the kit. However, if you want to slow down the headspeed a bit hirobo offers 22 and 23 tooth pinions. I also highly recommend the stretch kit for the type of flying your describing the bigger blades really tone down the flight characteristics of this machine.

Is the stretch kit a Hirobo part Number? If so, do you have it? What size blades can I run with the stretch? Thanks.

The stretch kit is made by hirobo but each part is sold seperatley it consists of a longer boom, longer belt, carbon fins, 465mm carbon blades, 64mm carbon tail blades, 22t pinion (if using 465mm blades)and carbon boom supports. However, you do not need the carbon supports or the horizontal fin. You will however, need to make a longer pushrod which I did by cutting one from a shuttle. If you are interested I got mine from udisco in montreal. I'm not sure of the part numbers but you can give them a call I know that all the parts are in stock their.
The number is 514-481-8107.

You may also want to check ReadyHeli. They have very good quality pinions for the Lepton: 20T, 21T, 22T, 23T, .....
