Blitz Helicopters Avro 90 > Servo cams = not fun

Gluing in those servo cams is a real pain in the neck.

I'm assembling the whole brace system and trying to move the cams into place. Then dropping a bit of glue on there and hoping the cams are in a good spot because I can't really see what I'm doing.

It takes about 15 minutes to do one servo and my fingers hurt. (Note that this is just servo prep... 15 minutes and nothing is actually installed.)

Anybody have advice to make this a bit easier?

Mark,

I believe the idea of gluing the cams in is to prevent them from falling out and aid in alignment in the subsequent steps. That being said, I wasn't certain which servo I was going to use where, so I installed them without the glue.

If you are to glue them, it is quite easy to do. Stack up the assembly, as the manual shows and use a small toothpick to just "dot" the cams with glue. That way you don't make a mess and you can still break the joint loose if you need to later.

Hold the servo support on the servo with the bolts in it. Put the servo cams in and then use needle nose pliers to rotate them so that the bolts are straight. The use a drop of super glue on each one. Only takes moment per servo.
