My suggestion is to find some other (safe) place to fly where your
space is restricted, like about less than 100meters square. But
there must be good incentive not to fly outside that space. It won't
work as well if you do it on the flight line in an open space. You will
have to develop a slow flying style to keep the heli in the area and
acros have to be carefully placed.

I spent a whole summer just working on flying slow. The key (for me at least) was careful collective management. For slow flight you basically need the collective at the same place it's at when you're hovering. Anything more will cause you to accelerate, and then you're not going slow anymore. Be very conscious of how much collective you're using. If the heli is speeding up, you're using too much, so back off a little bit.

It also helps to practice slow-and-low stuff in the simulator, if you have one. Figure-8s, "T" exercises, and so on. Just like learning new maneuvers, if you can do it in the simulator you'll have a much easier time doing it at the field.

I spend time during the week doing hovering and orientation work so that on the weekends I can stretch it out and have a good time. I spend time doing slow piro's, side to, nose in, figure 8's, slow circles, nose in circles, take off and land at different orientations etc.......
If you don't practice you will lose skills.
