Dear to all,
I would like to use 7S A123on my TREX500.
Unfortunatly I do not have a lipo or A123 charger. My only charger is infinty2 (Nimh & Nicd).
2 questions:
Do we need to charge the A123 using a balancer (like for lipo) ?
Did someone try the A123 dapoter ? this one, as I read, allow charging A123 with a Nimh charger.

Yea, you could use the Dapter to make a lipo charger capable of charger a123 m1 cells. I didn't know it could make a NiCd/NiMh charger capable, but it does say so on the site.

Most say its a good idea to use balance connectors to balance the A123 cells. Some guys don't and say they stay pretty balanced. I guess it would be up to you. I personally would balance the cells just to take care of them.
