Looks like ron has them in stock under the upgrade section. I ordered some screws and the new tail kit. Does anyone know if the tail hub is included with the upgrade kit?

I think the hub, blade grips, and thrust bearings are included.

I sent an order to Ricks and asked to include the hub if it was not in the upgrade package, and I was not charged for it. So the hub must be included in the upgrade kit.

Upgrade Assemblies

In the tail hub upgrade kit you get only what you need to convert your current tail hub to the new system. (long hub, two custom hub bolts, two 5x10x4 bearings, two 5mm shims)
In the N9SE Tail Assembly you get.... everything listed in this PDF on the Synergy site.

Thanks!

I should also mention how smooth the N9 runs with the new N9SE ENGINE MOUNT CENTER BLOCK. This part will also save your frames from breaking in the usual place (under the motor mount)
Matt Botos designed this part specifically to stiffen the motor mount area and change the frequency of engine vibrations to help reduce fuel tank churning/foaming. It has been a huge success in our testing.

That makes me feel even better about ordering it for my Synergy with the Bonita head and V-bar. The stock mount allows to much vibration, so hopefully this will smooth things out and help the v-bar sensor.

Is it really worth the $145 to upgrade????

Depends on the individual I guess. I do however like the fact that the new system has dual ball bearing pitch links instead of plastic ball links, and dual ball bearing CNC Tail blade grips. This will allow for a very smooth action on the tail pitch assembly. If you have ever had wear on your brass slider its most likely because one of the plastic pitch links is tigher than the other and constantly favoring the side with the least resistance.

New Center Engine Block Install

Do you have to take the frames apart to install the new center block engine mount?? (or can you simply drop the motor, remove the x-brace and slip the new mount in??)

Received my SE upgrades today--can't wait to get them on my model. Thanks Synergy Team for trying to improve a great flying heli--your efforts are appreciated!

I like that to but I've always prefered plactic tail grips. They just seem more forgiving. Is it possible to just purchase the pitch links and and still keep the plastic grips?
