Compass Knight 50 > Assembly question

What is the consensus on taking the preasssembled frame apart? Do I need to take every last bolt out and loctite or maybe just check some tightness and disassemble the head and tail? Are the thrust washers factory greased?

I had a few bolts come loose or come out on my Knight 50 3D so would suggest taking each one out and applying loctite. I didn't grease the thrust bearings thought - might as well just in case.

Not sure if Compass have addressed the poor loctite issue, Ade might pipe up.

no problems on mine.. all loctite.. had +- 10 flights now and still no problems

Head dampers etc all greased as well, you'll notice the tell tail grease sepage on blade grips after few flights.

i did check all other components (spot check) and all where fine. as in other post, only issue i had was clunk line that was torn, but was long enough just to re-attache

I checked all my frame bolts and they were all locktited properly on both my 3D's. On the first one I forgot to check the 2 bolts that go thru the headblock that the flybar carrier pivots on and guess which bolts didn't have any
They were fine on machine number two

What? You guys don't pull your frames apart and chamfer all the sharp edges? And change out all those nappy cap head screws for button heads? LOL
