Engines Plugs Mufflers Fuel > os 50 hyper temp. range???

when i first started flying out in Alamogordo,nm i was flying a 30 size raptor, then bumped up to a 50 size.after that i had put on a onboard temp gauge and was running it between 200-210 degrees.ran fine considering the altatude.

i recently have moved to penslvania were we are at 58 ft above sea level.im noticing that running it at 180-190 degrees has as much punch as i did in new mexico.is it because of the altatude? im also noticing that i was running 9 min flight times in idle up 1, now im only getting 6 min flight times?....help

should i still be running it at 200-210 or stick with were im at now?

does anybody know the actual running temp it should be at?

and does the altatude affect the temp??

I'm running 200-208 temp on my YS in WA state. This is perfect temps to run these motors.

Also a single adjustment on the needle makes a big difference, so be cautious on that. I am getting about 9 minute flight times on 1.25-1.50, so that is a good needle setting.

thats what i was getting was 9 min flight times.now im only getting 6-6 1/2 min flights per timer on my 10x.so if i run it back up to 200-210 range will my flight time increase in idle up 1?

also do i have to adjust the needle permiting weather?

Since you will have more dense air at sea level you will have to richen it a bit, this will also decrease your flight times.

Usually with the YS engines they are a "set and forget it", but since in a new location I would adjust accordingly.

i have a traxxas temp guage as you can see in the pics and the wire is is wrap around the head on the second ring( basicly were the bottom of the glow plug would be, at the highest combustion point) like ive stated i flew with it like this in new mexico.but the altitude and the dense air has made a difference.
