What happened with HP. Seams very unfair for the original 100 people to have to wait because of bad blood between the two. Does not concern the original 100 who took the leap of faith.

Maybe CX could just direct mail the 100 if their is problem between the two.

I guess my basic question is when will HP have their 100, and when will they (I) have mine, and what the heck happened.

I live here in SD and thought only HP was taking orders as they were the US dealer. What's up with RC-direct. I'll be calling all tomorrow. I just want my aurora. The funny thing I bought the full monty Synergy yesterday, delivery thursday. Well at least if I have to wait much longer I have something to build.

If you read CX's post, you'll see that the kits haven't shipped yet. They will be shipping to the dealers on Monday.

Its all good.

Relax, The details are being worked out both on the retail and wholesale sides.

As soon as concrete release information, other than what is posted, is ready, we will have an definite answer for you. We would hope that is today with updated advice from Avant RC.

Those that are on preorder with HP should call and verify if they want a kit, or not, as soon as possible.

Just a little bit more patience here and all will be worked out. Try not to read anything into any appearances. No use in getting worked up. LOL

Thanks

Ok I just took your advice and called HP and it was a non event. He didn't really care except to say if I paid for a pre-order, I still have a place in line. He didn't want my name or anything. So as far as calling to verify that we still want kits, it is a waste of time and a annoyance to the poor people answering the phones at HP.

I just called HP spoke with a gent there who looked up my name on the computer verified my pre-order and my conformation that I still want it and was told that HP doesn't know when but we will get a call.

DP did sound a bit annoyed about all of this. Can you blame them. People calling from all over the country asking them the same questions almost all at once. Must be very frustrating, and as a side note they are doing their best.

So for now I will just build my Synergy when it gets here today and do some more dreaming. Speaking of dreaming how many of you are going flybarless on the Aurora and which system would you be using.

Thanks

Congrats to all

What the Aurora is only fly barred, I thought this was the most advanced heli? Everything about this heli since day one has been mis-information, mis-direction and just plain outright lying. I don't know why people still would buy the thing if not just for the principle of showing that you can't treat us like fools and then expect us to line your pockets when you ask us for money.

Just to Clarify...

I have no problem with HeliProz. The position that Augusto has put them in is disgusting. And HeliProz has always been completely honest with all of us. But it must have been hell for them to be locked into the position they were caught in. And think about all the (800) calls they have had to pay for from people wanting information FOR OVER 2 YEARS!!! I refrained from bugging them myself, because I knew it must have been aggravating for their operators. That’s why I felt bad calling today. I could have pressed the issue more, but I didn’t want to be a nuisance. Hp, you are all doing great. Just make sure you get the kits as soon as any other supplier. You are still listed firstly on the CX website and still as a Factory Direct Supplier.

Can you blame them? I would of requested my money back as well, with the delays.

Hopefully it does work out for the people that still had there pre-orders with heli-proz. They stuck it out more then a year, they deffinetly deserve there heli.

If you dont succeed the first time, try and try again. With heli's keep on trying!

I don’t disagree that HP was in a bad position, but they put themselves into that position. The pre-orders were HP’s idea. We paid our money in good faith and HP took the pre-orders in good faith, no problem there. The past year has sucked for all of us (not two as the pre-orders were taken in Feb last year and I am only talking about pre-orders). What I think is wrong is that HP backed out of the deal and got their money back without telling their customers that paid them or offering to send their money back. Had I known they backed out I would have gone somewhere else.

I also don’t doubt that HP will make good on sending the kits out eventually, but unless they get in on the first round like the other vendors, what they cheated us out of is the whole idea of a “pre-order” and why we have let them keep our $100 for the past year.

Something else that I don’t like is they are acting put out because we are checking the status of our order. HP has our contact information; they should be letting us know the status instead of waiting for us to call. Other companies are sending emails to their customers… what’s up with that???

What would make this right IMHO is they should send out an email confirming our status and get us in on the first round of kits sent to distributors so our “pre-order” means something. If that is not possible, they should let us know what to expect in the email message. I am content to wait my turn but if it is more than a couple of weeks behind everyone else then I will know I chose the wrong vendor.

I have faith that HP will hear us and do everything they can to make this a positive experience for everyone.

If all of this is true and I don't doubt it is.

HP should call CX and have all the confirmed pre-order kits, not the ones people backed out on, shipped from CX and deal with the rest later.

If HP does not get is act together quickly (wire the money for goodness sake) not only is there a loss of pre-order exclusivity we no have to go find another waiting list to get on to wait some more.

That means that it would be the third release as I am sure the pre-orders for the second batch are gone or soon to be. That is not what my pre-order was for. Didn't necessarily care when it came just that I was one of the first lucky ones to have. You know possession is 9/10 ths

Guys..listen to what Jeff said. Come'on... I'm sure it will get worked out.. I'm being patient. If Jeff says it'll be fine, I have no reason to think otherwise. It has been a 2 year endeavor... I don't think a few more days is unreasonable to work out details. Have FAITH!

I agree my panties are not in a wad. I have waited this long a few more days is not going to kill me. I was just commenting on one of the ways to still provide great customer service and not have to commit to the contract long term.

It really would be silly if they didn't sign, why wouldn't they. I have all the faith in the world that I will be getting a call next week or thereabouts. Besides I just pulled the Aurora goodie box out to see what I needed to complete her.

Thus far

OS 91szh
sb18fh
logitech 6100t
ar7000

All to go with the rappy 50, evo 50, trex 450, synergy n9 just waiting patiently for my aurora.

Any flybarless thoughts. Vbar good choice maybe? or just leave it and beat it.

Hey everyone- Just wanted to let everybody know that we have received confirmation that our (HeliProz) kits will be shipping at the same time as the other dealers mentioned in the release. We are just as excited about this release as all of you and we are in the process of notifying all of the preorder customers and getting everything in line for shipment. The kits will be shipped direct to the customers from California so there will be even less wait to get the kit. If you are on our preorder list you will be getting your order. If you want to give us a call to confirm that is fine, we are working through calling everyone on the list as we speak. Sorry for all of the confusion, it will be worth it once you get the kits in your hands and can start building that beautiful machine though!
