I wouldn't hold your breath, just yet. There's alot of questions about the bird, and the company, that still need to be answered...

Yes but that will be more to do with the 700N than the Aurora IMO.

I would love to get my hands on the 700N after they modify that canopy.

I'll deal with the canopy. Heck, if it really is that bad when I see it in person..... I'll figure a way to put a Synergy canopy on it...

no way would an Aurora canopy fit those wide ass frames.
You get a wide ass canopy for a wide ass helicopter. Thats just the way it works. sorry 'bout that.

Raf, you have a Synergy, so you might know..

But could you see an N9 canopy fitting on that?
The N9 is only slightly wider than the Aurora I think.

I'm pretty sure there's no way an Aurora canopy would fit.

yeah i agree with you Dood, there's no way unless someone modifies the Aurora canopy to make it fit, that would mean pretty much making your own molds and fabricating your own Aurora look alike canopy, the Trex 700 is way too wide to fit a stock Aurora

i was just kidding Dan,but yes i agree with you on that

I won't be selling my current 90 now that the Aurora is out. Selling a well established heli to purchase one that was just released to the general public is not a great idea, IMHO. I think it's better to wait and see how well the Aurora does with the general flying public (versus the guys that are paid to fly them) first.

I may buy an Aurora kit, but I'm going to wait until after the smoke clears and there are some actual reviews of the heli out. The next few months should prove to be interesting!

Now that the aroura has been released, I really hope Align stomps on it. How the hell a company can leave people waiting 2 years, then say it’s so up to date. They must think were are stupid. It reminds me of the UK aircraft industry. Things have moved on since the announcement of this heli, so have a lot of people and there timing is as c**p, as well as there marketing.

Maybe re-read that post and fix some of the spelling and grammar. I had to re-read it 3 times to figure it out.

Here's what I don't get about align: they release a heli that has a bunch of "little" problems. It flies great though and people deal with the issue until Align fixes the issue then SELLS you the fix.

What's not to get? Align is a known quantity and it seems to be working well for them. EVERY heli has issues. The difference is that Align addresses them over time instead of selling the same old crap. Yes you pay for the new bits - and? At least I'm not paying for the same old bits. People now KNOW how Align does things. Don't like it, don't buy it, it's that simple.
