I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that put there time into this heli from the pilots to Augusto and everyone in between, with all the bashing going on, a congratulations has been missed. I know the release date was missed, but it wasn't missed due to lack of effort, that's for sure! I know of a lot of people that have thousands of hours in this project, and one man that has years of his life in this project. To you guys, my hat is off!

Hopefully, when the dust settles and the trolls find some new agenda, this forum can get back to what its here for.

I'll be glad to see them at the field. Chet

How about he finally come out with the truth vs. blamming others on the delays? Be a good start in mending peoples opinions of him. Its always hard to critique yourself, but is needed at times.

If you dont succeed the first time, try and try again. With heli's keep on trying!

thank you Augusto, for what is the most gorgeous machine to ever have a couple of spinny things on top of it that go around really fast.
Thanks for taking your time and getting this machine done RIGHT, instead of giving into pressure to release it early.

Every single one of the team pilots, for putting on some AWESOME flight demos, and really putting this machine through some vigorous trials.

Everybody that had a design input or innovative concept, from the sacrificial tabs to nylon screws on the landing struts.

Some thanks has to go to Dave Yost. Dave Yost had a hand in making this machine appealing to me at first. I HAD to have the equally beautiful machine that those canopies fit on.
I first saw one of Dave's Aurora canopies, and spent literally hours staring at it (yes Im kind of dork), and I'd even go back and frequent his website, to stare some more.

Anyways, Thanks again everyone at Avant.


I can't wait to have mine.
I've only got one on the way, but I'm totally stoked.
A partly undecided as to how I want to build it.
Part of me wants to build it as fast as possible and probably pull an all-night build, and the other part of me wants to take my time, and ENJOY the build. Ya know, I love building, I just hate making ball links. So if anyone wants to come over and make my ball links, come on over.

That said my trust has been shaken a few times, but I've never let it go... I trully believe that the Aurora is the one...

Thank you Augusto for having created it... that's something that noone else on this planet can claim... Aurora is your own "chef d'oeuvre"...

Last but not least, whereever you are on this planet... people will look at you with envy... because you're flying the BEST bird ever been on this planet... the BEST!!!

Never had any

i have around 300 hard flights and 4 crashes on all of my gears and there all still perfect!! it is the toughest machine i have ever flown.
the only time i break it is when i plant it ! Chet

Oh is that the phone... It was HeliPros calling me to confirm my order. That's right I am the happiest cat on this God forsaken planet RIGHT NOW!

I can't wait build my Aurora, It will be like making love, I'm gonna build it slow and easy and fly it long and hard!!!!!!
