george0079--
Gotta love that post, you just "had" to stick nitro in...

I am LMAO

Fire_Paramedic-- I hope your ready for the mentally disturbed world of psycho helo's... It's a bad disease, I blame my father, he taught me to fly my first Raptor 30-- I've been medicating myself since with weekly volumetric amounts of 30% cool power nitro. I am prone to snapping if I don't get "Air Time".... some symptoms include:

1)Being at work and noticing it's a perfect day w/ a clear sky!
2)You will constantly notice/monitor wind speed.
3)Getting mad because you went to bed and forgot to charge something!
4)Having conversations with yourself on the way to the field on what you need to try when your flying and practicing it in your head....
5)Driving down the road and noticing open fields you could fly in!
6)Working on your Heli and realizing it's 2am and you gotta go to bed! Followed by someone saying "Hey you look tired today".....
7)Getting pissed off when weather forecast shows rain on day off!
8)Making lists of the parts needed or spares wanted from LHS!
9)When your girl says to "What are you thinking about, Your quiet tonight"(Never tell her that's it helo's)
10)when you are trying to explain to this to people who don't know!

No matter what model, manufacturer, size, electric or nitro all off these symptoms can be displayed by the disease! Welcome Aboard Cowboy!

Flag8r77,
This be good for entertainment purposes. I'd get front row seats to watch the battle of the Chiwawas...

I recommend a T-rex 450. I'm not saying going all out and getting a blinged out V2. You can get a very basic but very decent 450 SA for around $250. I own both, a T-rex 450 SE V2 and a Blade 400. I'm sorry there is no comparison. And besides read everyone's posts including mine, the stock servo's and gyro are junk. You will certainly need to upgrade them sooner than later or after your very first crash. With that said, I hear you can get blade 400's for around $400. I wasn't. I had to pay $450. So with $450 and to go for a solid Gy401 gyro at around $140 and either a JR servo kit with the tail servo at 160 or to get a set of HS65mg's still around $150, that brings your original Blade 400 price up to just to make it even, $750. You can get a great beginner/basic T-rex 450 with all the electronics and radio preferably a DX7 for around the same price. In my opinion that is your best route. Like I said I have both while the 400 is an ok heli, the rex with out a doubt is a better choice.
