Amen to that Oysifly.

I'm glad you found something that you are happy with. I wish others would do the same if they are not happy instead of trying to discourage anyone else from making up their own mind.

uhh.... troll?

I believe if you will check the post I was once all about this mystical machine. I even sold my heli to purchase one when the first round of lies were told by your proud sponsor. And then 6 months later was lied to again directly by your sponsor in a PM when he told me the heli would be out within 4 weeks.... I guess he really meant a year and four weeks (just a little off) but go ahead defend the only man in history who has lied so much about this release he actually forced Websters to change the definition of SOON!

I am amazed at the number of people who still have any faith in a company that for the last 2 years has built its customer service (if you want to call it that) on lies and deception think about that when a part is out of stock and CX tells you it will be in stock soon!

Funny how when someone says the word soon to me I reply, normal soon, or augusto soon?

Another question...

Has there been any mention of kit price?  i would hope he could honor the original price quote. It wouldn't be so important except for the projected $800 price for the Rex 700. Maybe a little different market, but possibly a consideration given the recently changed landscape! New kid on the block!

Competition is good for business.

Guys,

Let's all kiss and make up. Go buy some Aurora's and go fly

"Why can't we all just get along"

On a serious note. I think everyone is entitled to their opion (even me..lol). It has been a long wait and I'm sure that anyone that still chooses to purchase an Aurora will be pleased with the refinement of the kit. I have flown one of the first Aurora's and can definately say that the machine that I have on my bench now has come a long way and has been put through it's paces by the best pilots out there.

The flying characteristics are simply unparalleled. It flies light and nimble yet with a precision similar to contest machines and all at a price that makes buying anything else not too smart a decision.

So now Avant is going to insult anyone who buys something other than an Aurora?

Sheesh, some marketing genius THAT is....

Ok guys, back to business for me...

Here's hoping that the machines will be delivered to their new owners very, very quickly and that they will be enjoyed as much as we have enjoyed building, and most of all flying them throughout the development cycle.

Information and help if needed will be available here.

Best regards to all,

Bird released -- order pending.

Congratulations Augusto and team, all of you, for your relentless pursuit of uncommon strength and agility in this new 90-sized heli. Diligence on your part combined with patience on ours has resulted in a new thwopter which most pilots will find impossible to break in the air -- an uncommon trait which inspires great confidence. It's unlikely my skill level (nor most others) will ever rise past what this machine is capable of. I'm looking forward to many hours, days, weeks, months and years flying this new bird.

Thanks!

Thanks bob00, I may need some help later as this is my first 90 machine. I have stuck out the wait for this machine. I just can't wait to fly my first and last 90!

Aurora, Synergy, Trex700 Take your pick, they were all at the huntsville funfly 2 weeks ago, and from what I saw, all are fairly equally capable. I did not see the Aurora and HC doing one thing that Matt didn't do with his Synergy, or Alan do with the Trex. So now we are into a Ford/Chevy/Toyota type thing. Take your pick, if you are happy with it, stick with it. If not switch. It is that simple. But for me at least customer support is almost as much of a factor as is performance, and the way I see it, the delays and set backs the Aurora has experienced in the last two years, and the games played right up to the end, Agusto/Aurora have a lot to learn about how to treat their customers.

Ignorance is curable, stupidity is for life.

Part reliability should also be a factor. Align has a bad history of parts breaking down too quickly (swash, one-way, etc) and selling it's users design fixes in the guise of being "upgrades". The same could also be said of Synergy, but with aftermarket companies making the upgrades. Time will tell if Avant did it right with the Aurora.

Capability is only one small portion that should go into any buying decision any of us have for our helicopters. Reliability, cost, parts support, ease of maintenance, etc are all factors. Don't focus on just one tree and miss the forest.
