Sorry for all the questions guys but this is my first MA machine and I want to get it right from the begining. I am going to buy a Fury Extreme to Stratus conversion kit in a few weeks and I think I remember seeing that the kit doesnt contain all the parts needed for the complete swap. I couldnt find the info now that I'm looking. So I'm hoping that somebody could tell me what parts I need that are not included with the kit and if you have part numbers that would be of great help. I just ordered the flybar carrier and machined tail rotor gear set. Thanks for all the help in bringing my dream machine to life.

Hi Rich!! you can download the conversion kit instructions on minairs site and read up on what you need. The main thing you will need is if you are using a 90 is to upgrade the clutch and the clutch bearing block. when you order your kit you will have to let them know what motor and gear ratio you desire. you will also need the one piece main bearing block where the tail drive is. you will be able to use your extreme canopy by locating the stand offs where they line up with you canopy. Take a little time to read thru the instructions and you will have a better idea what you will need. Here is the link.

I did also add the front frame stiffeners. sorry i dont have the # handy but just let them know when you order the kit and they will be glad to help you out . Good luck you are going to love it!!!!

Thanks I did read the instructions and they did mention the clutch and the clutch bearing block but maybe I missed it but I dont remember them mentioning the block for the tail drive. Is this an oversight on my part?

It depends how old your Extreme is. If you have this part:

Then you are ok. This replaces what used to be 2 bearing blocks in older ones.

Do you happen to know if the conversion kit comes with the new style tank or the old style with the cap on the side? Looks like the toughest part will be trying to find a kit available on the market.

Rick that # will work but that includes the front tail drive shaft and some bolts which you have on your extreme already. but if you need to replace them that is the best way to buy them.
