HIROBO X-spec - Freya - Sceadu - Shuttle > Estimated value of this Shuttle

Hello everyone.
I'm currently learning to fly on a blade 400 and have hovering down, but thinking of jumping into nito at some point in the future. I found a guy selling a Hirobo Shuttle (haven't seen it in person yet) because he's getting out of the hobby.
Merely based on the pictures I pull from his classified ad, can you guys give me an idea what a "good deal" would be on this set up.

Here is some information from his listing:
"Helicopter comes with a JR XP652 6-Channel Radio which has hardly been used along with a Sullivan HI-TORK engine starter. It Has an upgraded rotor head."

Any information would be most helpful.

Thanks much.

Looking at the photos that looks the be an RG shuttle, note the Alloy stacked frames, worth considerably more than that of a standard plastic shuttle. The RG is a fairly rare and expensive version of the shuttle, parts are a little harder to get hold of but not imposible, if the price was right I would buy it in a heart beat but mostly to have it pollished on the shelf with the occasional outing to the field (Did I mention it is a little rare these days)

The radio is getting rather old, (I have one I use for the sim) I dont like it for my heli's as only three point throttle and pitch curves, but would work.

I also notice that half the fin on the boom is missing/broken.

If your not looking to do some work to make sure that this heli is ready and safe to fly and want something you can go straight out and fly I would say pass but if you have a bit of spare cash and can afford to buy it anyway to set up and fly later then go for it as it is a very nice machine (for something that is probably around 6 to 10 years old if not more)

I was thinking more along the lines of setting it up to fly at a later time.
So what do you think a good deal would be?
Thanks.

Someone tried to sell a Shuttle RG here on RR a little while ago, It looked pretty tidy but he struggled to get $350 for it.

Value...

I'd say somewhere from 100-250$ for all of it...problem with getting a heli like that is the struggle to get parts when you crash...sometimes you are better off with a more common and newer heli for that reason alone....especially if you are learning and plan to crash..

That was me selling the RG. Very nice heli. I would still pickup an EVO 30 or 50 off of here. Parts are readily available. I feel they are an excellent choice for a first heli. You will be able to fly a stock one for a long time and there is only 1 update required. Metal radius block ($20).

I agree 100% , you can find great deals for machines with good electronics in the classifieds.
