I'm setting up the head on my Xtreme 50 and am confused by the directions. Should the mixer arm be parallel with the blade grip arm?

Thanks for the help

There are quite a few different setups with this design,

We are currently running with the mixing arm with the three holes facing the grip with the link ball in the middle hole, on the two hole side were are in the outter hole, on the washout base we are in the outter hole.

On the grip pitch arm there are three holes, we are in the middle, we are also in the middle hole in the seesaw.

We do have our mixing arm in line with the pitch arm and grip.

This provides a very stable platform from hover thru FFF, you can increase the cyclic speed by moving the mixing arms on the three hole to the outside and the two hole to the inside.

All I can say is try it and find the setting best suited to your flying style, you can use ours as a starting point and make it more agressive if needed, you will atleast have a stable platform to start from

I have mine set up exactly as Clyde's. This set up provides very quick cyclics, yet is stable during hovering and FFF. Here are a couple of pics:

My should be ready for a test hop on Monday. I'll post my findings at that time. You should keep in mind that I consider myself new to helicopters (30+ years flying planks) and my input will not be of value to the experienced pilot (i.e. - Stick Bangers)

Any income is always welcome, remember there are others just starting out and we all were there in the begining at some point in our heli addiction
