Solid G

I have been flying the Solid G on my ION X with the Stratus setup and it is working great.

piro rate is very good and very consistent through out piro flipping moves etc...

Crown Gear

Make SURE you have ZERO lash on the Crown Gear...I didn't inspect this ION X as closely as I should have (it's used) and I didn't notice that the crown gear was set a bit loose...

I ended up stripping my first Crown gear ever in flight...I actually stripped it out while doing some hard piro flipping moves..I have replaced the crown gear since and readjusted the lash to zero...where it should be and it's been working great..

just make sure you check your lash carefully...

flew the solid g in my stratus. Tail still whips a bit in piro-funnels and the piro rate was faster than my 611. I will adjust the piroette gain and that should cure the whipping. Very easy to set up.

i do not own a stratus but i do fly solid G always have when it first came out.....you can do the basic programing without the G-view...basic seting is servo select...tail neutral...tail direction..left travel...right travel...the gain is set on the radio and aux 2 do not have nuthin to do with the setup...only for factory purpose

but with the G-view you can go to model select...it contain Vibe Synergy Stratus Raptor 50 and 600E/N......

and also you have right stop speed and left stop speed.so when you tail stops to hard left or right you adjusted here

..right coast and left coast...this set how far your heli travel after you let go of you tail when you piro.

then piro speed when ofcourse adjust your speed on you piro...

and piro balance i think this change the speed going left and going right...i think on this the higher the number the speeds picks up going right..and the lower the number the speed slow down going left...so you gotta balnce out....(this is mostly already set up perfectly)

this is all i no at the top of my head....and you can only adjust it with the g_view....starting with the model select...

hope this helps
