Just today, I bought a brand new bottle of thread lock, isopropyl a alcohol, as well as a fresh new roll of florescent orange tape.

I also broke out a brand new set of virgin hex drivers. I can't wait.

Oh, if anyone doesn't have a set of snap ring pliers, make sure you get a set. I'm telling you guys they are an essential tool for building the head. There are two snap rings in the head that you will have a hard time installing without these.

You'll need it for in your field box. You won't be able to change out your spindle without it.

The Channel Lock brand they sell at Home Depot is a nice one, and only costs about $20.

I'm in the same boat as Dood. I have a good feeling it'll be out in the next few days but I won't be let down if it's not. I have other heli's to fly. I'm not one of the one's that went and sold all my heli's waiting for the Aurora. Instead I kept what I had and got the money ready to go to buy one. That way I have heli's to fly. I've been in no hurry to get one... just patiently waiting.

Yeah it's a bit frustrating but then again... it's just a RC heli. After seeing one in person it's gonna be worth the waiting time. I'm not saying I agree with the way everythings been handled but design wise this is a nice heli. So we'll all wait and see.

And for those of you who think I'm on AVANT's payroll think again. My opinion can't be bought.

It'll be nice to see this heli actually come out. I like the looks and the design. I like many don't care if it comes out in a couple days or not. I'd probably get one next flying season if it is already out. I already have a fx with the programmable head and I like it. But hopefully this time it comes out for real, I'm tired of hearing bad press about a great heli. At the end of the day, fly what you like.

Do you read or comprehend any of the multitude of posts?! Virtually none have criticized the heli. The bad press is for the owner who is almost 2 years late, with many broken promises and unexplained delays. Combine all the delays with months of silence leads to "bad press".

Apparently you guys are friends with the Aurora field reps.

I would think that you fellas would be a little less condescending
and a bit more considerate about the Avant company/reps.
