e-Century Hummingbird - Swift > Carbon 550 ball spacing build question

I'm currently putting in the servos in a new Carbon 550. The manual states a distance of 20-22mm between the servo hole center - to the ball center. That would mean 40-44mm between ball centers...... that cant possibly be right.

If I do that I wont be able to put the left cyclic servo in because the arm will extend down too far.

Also, The pics show the balls on top of the servo arm. That makes a pretty extreme angle for the pushrod from the servo arm to the bellcrank. Wouldn't it be better to mount the balls on the underside of the servo arm????

You want 23mm from ball to ball on the elevator(from centre of balls) on the servo arms for a 1:1 ratio.

25mm from ball to ball (from centre of balls)on the aileron servo arms for 1:1 ratio.
