I'm a rookie to the heli's and started with a used .30 from Quick Worldwide. I'm having a great time with it. I'd like to thank Irwin, John and the rest of the crew for their ongoing support in helping me get the heli set up. They went out of their way many times to help me set ALL my equipment up. I'm now very comfortable with it, it is running great. I would recommend one of these machines to anyone interested. Again thanks to the crew at Quick Worldwide for making my entry into the new hobby very enjoyable!

Hi

Welcome to the world of nitros. I had a Quick 30 Pro until I recently sold it to help fund a new heli, they old real troubles I had was the swash bearing which Irwin fixed straight away. Otherwise it is a nice flying bird.

I did notice the swash bearing moving the first time I hovered it. We took it apart, cleaned it up and added red loctite. Four gallons later it is solid as a rock. I believe the newer swash has a set screw in there to prevent the problem, mine does not. The head on my machine is all metal with the exception of the main grips. I chose to use plastic for now. Metal grips/better blades will be the first thing I put on this soon. I did see the grips and they look great. The machining and the finish on the parts is very nice.

Depends on who you ask. I myself had good luck, and would not hesitate to buy another one, but that's me

I never had a problem with the swash on my Q30 that was put together with loctite. The OD26 and Fly that I have now have three screws in the swash to help hold in the bearing. I think all of the models comming out of QWW now have these screws in the swash.

NEW SWASH

WE will now include a new swash plate design using upper & lowers large circlip too hold the swash together. Also there will be the small 2.0MM screws to hold large bearing in the lower swash along with locktite on the large & spherical bearing....

WE are also using double bearing design....expensive but smoother...

If these fail I give it...
