I need a 14 tooth 5mm pinion, can someone help me out ?
I need the type that is brass and has the shoulder , not the type that has teeth all the way across. It looks like this (this is a 17 tooth) .

I have every pinion there is almost , from an 8 tooth to a 21 tooth, but not the 14 tooth with the shoulder...

Thanks yardboy , I have a 10 and an 11tooth that I will give you for the 14 tooth..
Does the 14 tooth you have have the shoulder on it ?

Yes looks just like the 17 in the picture. Used it on the 16v3 when I was using 5s packs.

Guys,

When we are talking about pinions... I just finished my new EX (I screwed up my SP and got a new EX kit). Meanwhile I built a T-Rex 500, too.

Now, unlike my T-Rex 500 stock motor, the Hype Alpha motor that I use for the EX does not have a "groove" on the motor shaft (see picture of the Align motor).

Are you guys recommend to grind such a groove (e.g. with a Dremel) to get the pinion more grip on the shaft? Or is it OK to just attach the pinion without this groove and use some Locite?

I have used both methods to secure the pinions on the shaft. But , I have found that if you do NOT grind a "groove" on the shaft ,the motor has better resale value if you decide to upgrade to a better motor and sell the old one ...
With or without the "groove" has always worked for me...
