John

You have made no topical point in this thread nor provided any information that is of any use to anyone else in this forum.

You are a disruptive individual who uses this forum for your own purposes and you put nothing back in to it.

You have no right to disrupt other who choose to post topics here.

You offer no advice to anyone here to improve their work other than to offer your goods to them for sale.

You are a poser, you imagine any informative critique of pictures is insult to your false tower of wisdom.

You see any advice other than "buy Airfoil" as a threat.

You share no information to assist others with their equipment unless you sold it to them.

What good are you around here to others operations and photgraphis work appart from your $customers here.?

Please do tell.

ACTUALLY....

MPA's posts are a mile long, I just kinda skip over the over what he's sayin' and read the other guys stuff.

"stepladder shots" ... that's funny.

I saw the beach shot before, musta been feeling extra gutsy that day.

And if anyone here ever needed help with their photography daggit would be it and a look at his web site it is plain to see.

Ever heard the term "cropping" daggit.
Ever applied the rule of thirds in your shots.
Ever considered the horizion should be at least close to level.

Go ask your Bar Fly mates daggit they may give you some advice, you need it.

MPA, Smithprod et all bashers;

I for one would like to see all of you get the hell out of here! Your childish bickering is serving no purpose at all. If you want to continue this, please take it to private email.

For that matter, this entire forum is next to useless. It seems that anyone with any USEFUL knowledge is keeping it to themselves for fear of being bashed, or for fear of creating “competition”. I believe that those of us who come here hoping for help with our problems are kidding ourselves. I for one could care less about framing shots, cropping, fast or slow shutter speeds, etc. What I would like to see are pictures with comments about the helicopter and mount used, camera brand and model, film speed, shutter speed, type of shock mounting, downlink type/power/antennas, ground support equipment, etc. This is the kind of information I can use. We can all learn about photographic techniques and technical jargon from text books. There are none available for this specialized type of photography so please don’t preach to us about our lack of expertise. Show us pictures you have taken and tell us how you did it please! If you are worried about creating competition for your business then please just keep off the list and keep your poison pens to yourselves.

Consider this my formal complaint to the owner of this list. Please do not let these few discontents destroy a forum that has a potential for being helpful to us ‘newbies’.

Later;

D.W.

ps I feel better now

I am an amateur pilot, amateur photographer, amateur website builder. I never took a single aerial picture before October 2002.

I don't pretend to know what I'm talking about in this field.

If you read my posts, I am asking advice, not telling pros what they did wrong.

Ya really....

I also like the insurance that is available when people search and search and find nothing. Go ahead and hide your insurance leads and everything you know. If you professionals really wanted to help us amateurs you would have no problem with spilling the beans on everything
and really helping people
