I just took an old Best Buy gift card (a credit card or other similar card would also work) and cut to 1-5/16 in. x 3-1/8 in. I then glued (CA) two pieces of 2mm carbon rod to strengthen the extension and then glued (CA) the extension to the HBK2 battery tray. OK, it isn't that special, but it works very well. I just wanted to share another cheap and simple way of extending the battery tray.

The CC idea is a constant reminder that your heli is really powered by mastercard.......

I just figured I would make mine like a TREX so it would fly better.

I noticed that in the pic but refrained from making any comments about it...Looks like a rex now..... I just ordered a new landing gear for the 600E, I guess I must have set it down a little too hard today in the wind...

Seriously though I did that to fit the battery in the jet ranger fuse and get the CG back where it belongs the fuse made it even more tailheavy. Extending the stock tray wasn't an option as far as fitment in the canopy. but if you think about it the more you can stand the battery on end the more it concentrates the weight forward.

It frustrated me so I took it off and replaced some servos and haven't got it to work since head is sloppy blades flutter not enough lift I put too much paint on the fuse. Now the motor or ESC died motor just chirps and wiggles wont spool up. Ill get it back going but I just bought a new flightbox today and am a little strapped for cash.
