Miniature Aircraft Nitro/Gas Helicopters > What pitch ranges can you get on a fury ?????

I recently bought a Fury that has very little flight time on it. It is an older model (XL stamped on the frame). It has been outfitted with a YS80st and SB-15 pipe. What pitch ranges is this heli capable of. So far I have managed almost getting +-12 on collective and the cyclics are ok. I was wandering could I get more with the stock head or is this all I can expect to get?

What headspeeds are people using?

I believe that the stock Fury head has a max pitch range of 25 deg. So your +- 12 is probably what you have. As far as head speeds go, I have no idea what to tell you. It really depends engine to engine. My YS91st really liked 1950HS with the 8.45GR.

I hope this helps some.
