Thanks 3dx. I'm real happy with this canopy that Bill at Arizona did for me. I only have 4 flights on the Vibe 50, but as far as I'm concerned it's as good as any heli I own, if not better. The parts quality is second to none, it has some great design features,it flies as good as it looks and it just has that "high end" feel. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Let your flying do the talking - don't talk about your flying

Well if i can say something i want to add that i m not 100% happy of Vibe. Well on the second flying one of the clutch bearing has broken. It started to block. Well JR Poland sent me the new one and now it s OK. This is not the end of history. On third fly one of the tail blade has broken. It just got lost. i only heard rumble and thene Vibe started to turn around. It was 2 meters over the ground so i just broken tail boom and bent main shaft and tail shaft. Hehe JR Poland sent me the new one for free. (Plus for JR i like theme.)
They told me it is the second accident with tail blade in Europe. There is something wrong in material in some blades so now i use blades from raptor 50. I trust theme more. However JR Vibe is the best heli i ever had.

If u want to see my Vibe flying here is some clip. Well quality is bad couse of analog camera but in small window u can see everything

Vibe 50 bearings sucks. You have to replace clutch and main shaft bearings with better quality bearings. Mines were almost broken in about 20 litres in hard 3D.

Was that before or after the crash. I find that a crash usually trashes the main bearings.

I'd rather be flying

Because the canopy haven't mount into the canopy standoff yet. So the holes on the canopy are not align to the standoffs yet. He just want to show us the canopy, he still need to put grommets on the canopy...you see!!!

Oh ok.

Now back to 3Dx... what kind of screws are those that you're using on the canopy? I found something similar (from the knight 3D) but they hit the canopy and not the grommets.

Thx

Tony

A friend is using the Quick UK thumb screws. He said all he had to do was replace the bolts with longer ones and they fit great.

These are the Quick UK ones. You also have to use some fuel tubing as a spacer. I used a longer bolt than needed but thats all I could find for now
