eCCPM has the mixing done in the radio.

CCPM or mCCPM extra hardware on the heli to do the mixing on the heli.

Most mCCPM have a singe servo doing a single function (one servo for fore/aft cyclic, one servo for left/right cyclic and another for pitch)

eCCPM has three or more servos working together to do collective an cyclic.

Before we had really fast strong servos eCCPM was a big help as the servos as a team worked together. Now with super servos available it is not needed as much, but it still is the leading type of control system.

its been done to death and everyone wants something different. For me, though, my perfect raptor 50 looks to be a Knight 50 3D. I would rather have molded plastic frames but everything else is just what I want so I ordered one. We'll see how it works soon.

the molded plastic frame is cheap and no good. What happens if you spin a bearing or something?? you are always replacing the frame. That is the big big big down fall on the raptor. The 9-se has addressed it but I still think they should go with a ccpm and upgrade. There are so much more better helis out there its almost not even worth having one any more

The frame is a whole $24, compare that to the price of the carbon fiber frames. I have never spun a bearing (knock on wood). Spinning a bearing ussually comes from a lack of maintenence anyways.

The only thing I would like to see change is bearing block holders for the main and starter shaft bearings so I dont have to split the frames to change the bearings.

I have already done so. I do not even fly my raptors any more. I have sold most of them and plan to sell the last 2 here soon

It happens. I have only ever spun one bearing out. I am sure it happens all the time. I am simply saying the plastic frames are junk I do like the CF ones of the 90se though.
