| Kirk is right about the kit. There are plenty of people who pay for a kit, even a $1000 one, and then throw out $100s for upgrades. If that is what you want the Avro is not for you. If your time is more important than an initial low price and you want a kit that does not require fixing any inadequacies, the Avro is the way to go.
Also, for tune-ability, I would put the Avro head against The Avant programmable head.
