Synergy R/C Synergy N9 > Assembly question on page A4

I am reassembling my Synergy after my crash and have a question about the main shaft assembly(page A4).

The M4x8 bolts(part #100-408) that go through the main gear and hub assembly into the main shaft seem a little long. They do not fully go into the assembly, they stop when they hit each other in the middle. Is this correct and should I just tighten them against each other?

I can't remember what I did in the original build...

Nick
If the wings are travelling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter

No they should not hit each other. I thought they were 4x6mm bolts. Thanks

Do you have the collar the goes around the sprag assembly in place before bolting it to the main shaft? Without it the bolts would be too long and meet in the middle like you are describing.

Make sure you have the main gear hub collar on 110-150 (page A3) and the(100-408 M4x8) socket head bolts should go in fully without touching each other. Hope this helps

Yeah I think I forgot the collar Thanks guys I don't know what I was thinking... It is harder when all my parts are in a dish instead of organized bags!
