| One thing which is usually missed is that the two bearings which go over the shaft of the gear, are very hard to get seated in the correct location. If the first bearing is not all the way down to the gear, this will cause the ratchy feeling in the gear, because the gears are meshing too tight. I have never had this in this gearbox, if the bearings are installed properly.
