Avant Aurora - EFX - FX > The mystique is gone

As I was watching the videos over at the other forum I noticed that when watching the Aurora videos now something is missing. I realized that with the big name pilots gone it's just not the same at all. I guess Align, M.A., and Synergy really know what they are doing when they hire the big guns. The do make a difference.

I'd agree... Not all the greatest pilots fly Align. Give the guys credit where it's due, they have awesome skills. Don't tear them down because of what they fly...

JD, who do you fly for? Just curious...

Didn't mean to tear anyone one down. HC is bad to the bone. I should have specified Alan, Jason and Marcus. It was just like the elite team flying the Aurora. I enjoyed watching them fly the machine. No disrespect meant at all.

What mystique? What is not the same ? Once again you seem incapable of posting anything of value pertaining to the Aurora.

fr8brkr I wondered how long it would take you to reply. I see you now live on this forum waiting to defend the mystical helicopter. I sure hope you are getting a free helicopter, you deserve it.

fr8brkr, I have not seen you post anything of value pertaining to the Aurora. Because you don't know what may happen. It not going to be released until the fat man sings. I have not heard anything yet. Hang on till your dreams.

Augusto is OJ Simpson, and you, fr8brkr, are Johnny Cochran. Even though you know he's guilty you have to defend him.

Probably the best and most accurate analogy I've seen so far.

Ehn,
It is always refreshing to see your postings. They provide knowledgeable, accurate, and well informed information. It is because of you that I now have a better grasp of the situation at hand with the release of the Aurora. Thank you in advance to the continuation of your well deserved efforts.

Not quite Ehn.

Augusto is Gustav von Aschenbach, and fr8brkr is playing Tadzio in the monumentally subtle film "Death in Venice". Watch the film to see what I mean. Some people say it's an amazing work of art. Other more clued up people see it for what it is.

fr8brkr,

I doubt you were one of the people that feel victim to Augusto's lies over a year - two years ago and took his word on the release and put down a deposit, bought all the equipment(engines, electronics, blades, etc.), etc to be lied to over and over again, stuck with equipment that was obsolete or out of warrantly. I for one, was a sucker that feel for his load of crud and lost alot of money due to that and I am by far not the only one. If obviously I was to redue it again I woulnd't of put down a deposit nor bought a few thousand dollars worth of electronics, etc. I guess I took a man for his words, which he has proved is worthless now days.

Nolonger,
You are correct that I am one of "those" people that did not put a deposit down. I never would put a deposit down on ANY helicopter. As far as purchasing an engine and electronics for a helicopter not in my possession , I would not do that also. Having said that, to whine about losing so much due to retaining the components you purchased this would make sense if they could only be used in the Aurora and not find commonality in some other 90 size machine. You made the choice to hold onto the parts, no one forced you. I have chosen to fly the Aurora based on its design and quality of components. The personal slurs directed at the individual responsible for its creation have served no value in bringing the helicopter to the marketplace.

I agree with everything you said except for the last sentence. I don't believe I am sluring "the man", more then he has slured others. Have you seen some of the slurs he has thrown at his potential customer? I am just speaking the truth from my personal experience as well as others. Everyone does have a choice on what they decide to do at the end. I am just a person here making others aware of how my past experiences were with this experience/product/person and warning others.

you make choices in life. We all make choices.

Likewise companies make choices.

They can choose to honour their release dates - or they choose not to.

How the customers react to it, is their own business and nobody else's.

How do you think all this ruckus goes down with the people constantly being delayed and hoping? What does it say about the company?

There's no right or wrong here. But what Augusto is doing with all this delaying is not good business practice - even a 5 year old will tell you that.

Now, fr8brkr, about your acting career . . .

Bill,

You seem to have a love for a heli that as of yet does not exist. Can you admit that CX has lied in the past about release dates? Can you even admit that in general telling people it will be out several times and then not releasing it is a bad business move?

Good for you! Others wanted to do the same, but now have no faith in the company.

For your sake I hope the thing does get released....But I can totally understand how others are not wanting to fall into the same BS that they have been told at least three times in the last two years.

GET A LIFE!

I am not here to defend Carbon Xtreme but what are all of you pessimistic people going to do if this thing ever does get released? You need to get a life so that you will have something to do when others are happy flying it. Even if it never gets released, so what? Grow up and move on! I have to wonder if this constant barrage of attacks isn't some super secret, well coordinated effort to destroy Avant RC!

Those other pilots left because they are tired like you are but they had the sense to move on. Can you blame them? This is, after all, how they make there living.

If you lost deposit money, your anger should be directed at the company who took your pre-order, not Avant RC. In the mean time, there are other helis out there you can purchase.

Happy flying!

One could say the same of those that defend it blindly IMO.

Personally I am going to say, "FINALLY....Now I wonder if it will live up to the hype." What are all you defenders going to say if it does not get released again?

You need to get a life so that you will have something to do when others are happy flying it.

I have had a life all along. Been flying my Vibe for a 90 all this time and my Venture, then EVO, then N600 for my 50.

Why do you feel the need to yell at people and try to belittle them if they do not agree with you?

Why am I on this forum?

1. I was actually interested in the Aurora and wanted to know what was going on. If it ever does come out and in real world hands it is still the bees knees, then I may buy one. But the company has a long way to go to prove itself reliable to me.

2. The Aurora release has become a running joke. Things like it being made of "unobtainium" is just funny. I sit in front of my computer and surf RR and this forum for FUN.

The people that take ANY toy helicopter as serious as some on here do are funny...Those that take a toy helicopter that does not yet even exist and get all wound up about it are even funnier.

Again I ask, "Why do you feel the need to yell at people and try to belittle them if they do not agree with you?"

BTW a post from YOU in the Synergy forum:

Quote
I am not trying to put the guys at Synergy down, its just that those of us who ordered one are anxious. Its like someone put the N9 in our face and said "Psych" and took it away.

So, you can complain about a "Psych", but others can't?

BTW, I agree that people should not complain about their gear being old....Don't put the cart in front of the horse, don't count your eggs before they hatch...ect.
