This is all irelevant. Whatever the engine runs best at is where the needle should be. All IC engines arn't created equal. If it runs great at 5 clicks out, so be it. It it runs great at 5 turns out, so be it. What ever gets the job done.

I see everyone overlooking one very important factor here and that is the MUFFLER TYPE and the PRESSURE it creates in the fuel tank helping to push the fuel to the carb needle. That is why the difference in everyone's carb settings, that and FUEL NITRO PERCENT and ALTITUDE your at, hence the differences.

The various muscle pipe versions and especially the MP5 put a bit more pressure back into the fuel tank than a Hatori or Align muffler do so the needles will be closed down more with the MP's.

Try running without muffler pressure sometime just atmospheric pressure and you will have to go 3 or more turns out to get enough fuel for the engine to run right.

Oh No Someone Please Stop Me Before I Go Broke With This Heli Thing!!

Well, i tried at 2 turns and still nothing i played around with the needle between 2 and three. what im thinking now is that no fuel seems to be moving when i turn it over, im gunna take the tanks off and check the clunks next...

Try this.

Set carb HSN to 1.25 turns out and the LSN to the 2 o'clock position and then try starting it.

Sometimes, when stuff like this happens, i find it helpful to just start over. Recet everything back to normal, recharge everything, and try again. What has happened to me in the past is something is wrong. Maybe it is the glowplug bad or tune or whatever. I find what i think the problem is and fix it but what i fixed isn't really what was causing the problem. So now 2 things are hooked up wrong and by the time i fixe the correct problem there is another problem from me fittling with it. LOL
