Radio - Futaba FASST > Where did you purchase your 12z 2.4 from?

In shopping around, I have found only a few places that sell the Futaba 12z 2.4 ghz radio:

towerhobbies.com
amainhobbies.com
helidirect.com
heliproz.com
espritmodel.com

The prices for this radio is about darn near the same for each one. Anywhere from $1495.00 - $1499.99.

When I go to some of the other main vendors listed on RR, many do not carry this radio. Is it "that" new? I though the 2.4 12Z has been out for a few months?

Not that I have a problem buying from any of the places above, but why are more shops not carrying them?

Where did you get yours, and for how much?

Its new. older ones were bought as 72mhz radios and converted using the Fasst module, but the ready made set is in fact rather new.

I had my LHS get one for me. They quoted me an "out-the-door" price better than Tower or Heliproz. Only Ron's beat the price and not by much. After I factored in the stack of $5 off coupons I got due to the size of the purchase, the price was even better than Ron's. Rob, the owner of the local Hobby Town gave me a a really good price.
